Manual Processes Causing Inefficiencies

As the operations for (IVF) processes expanded, the paper-based manual processes were causing inefficiencies and slowing down the performance at all levels.

• The location partners were contacting the clients via traditional mediums like email and phones to book OPU events, which were very difficult to manage.
• Vytelle clients didn’t have any visibility on the number of semen and oocytes that have been used and couldn’t prepare for the next OPU.
• The client’s customers were not filling out the paper-based donor forms that had the details about the donor cows, sires, time of collection etc. The technician conducting the oocyte collection had to write down all the information, which takes up a lot of time, and then later had to enter it into their system.
• The semen-packing checklist was in the form of a spreadsheet that had to be manually updated every time.

Building Digital IVF Platform Connecting Farmers, Vets, and Labs

The client needed a centralized platform to connect stakeholders and provide role-based access to critical data. We built a web application that digitizes the IVF workflow, improves coordination, and supports faster, more informed decision-making.

We conducted a 4–5 week discovery to understand workflows, identify pain points, define requirements, design custom features, and proceed with wireframes, designs, and development after approval.

IVC, Cleavage, Prediction

The system records data for in vitro culture, cleavage stages, and prediction ranges, helping users estimate potential embryo production and make informed decisions during processes.

Location Management

The solution allows management of multiple location partners, assigning user roles, and organizing locations for upcoming events, ensuring better coordination and visibility across all operational sites.

Customer Management (Companies & Customers)

The platform enables creating, updating, and managing customer profiles and locations, with filtering, sorting, and search capabilities to efficiently organize and access customer-related information.

Offline Support

The application supports offline data capture, allowing users to record critical information without internet access and sync data later when connectivity is restored for uninterrupted operations.

Fertilization

The system facilitates semen qualification, manages fertilization based on selected mating combinations, and automatically assigns backup semen when required, ensuring continuity despite qualification issues.

Cattle Management

The solution manages donor cows, sires, and recipient cows using unique IDs, enabling accurate identification, tracking, and organization of cattle involved in breeding and IVF processes.

Lab Management

The platform assigns laboratories based on semen type, whether conventional, pre-sorted, or reverse-sorted, ensuring appropriate lab selection when specific semen sorting services are required.
