Key takeaways
President Donald Trump responded to massive nationwide protests against his administration by posting AI-generated videos on social media Saturday evening, including one depicting himself in a fighter jet dropping what appears to be fecal matter on demonstrators.
The 19-second video, shared on Trump's Truth Social platform, shows the president wearing a crown while piloting a jet emblazoned with "King Trump" as Kenny Loggins' "Danger Zone" plays in the background.
The video shows the aircraft dumping brown liquid on protesters in what appears to be Times Square in New York City, including footage incorporating real protest images from left-wing influencer Harry Sisson.
Historic turnout at demonstrations
The video came as organizers reported nearly 7 million people participated in more than 2,700 "No Kings" protests held across all 50 states Saturday.
The demonstrations drew 2 million more participants than similar rallies held in June, making it potentially the largest single-day protest in American history according to some estimates.
Large crowds gathered in major cities including New York, Washington D.C., Chicago, Los Angeles, and Boston, with protests also occurring in smaller towns and rural communities nationwide.
According to the New York Police Department, over 100,000 people participated peacefully across New York City's five boroughs with no arrests made.
Protesters voiced opposition to what they characterized as authoritarian tendencies by the Trump administration, with demonstrations targeting policies including ICE raids, military deployments in American cities, cuts to federal programs, and perceived threats to democratic norms.
White House dismisses protests
When Newsweek inquired about the No Kings marches Saturday, White House spokesperson Abigail Jackson responded: "Who cares?" Later, Jackson told Newsweek: "Cry more libs!"
JUST IN: TeamTrump hilariously trolls the “No Kings” protest by posting an AI video of President Trump dressed like a king in front of the White House.

Speaking to reporters aboard Air Force One as he returned to Washington from Mar-a-Lago, Trump dismissed the protests, telling reporters he looked at the protesters and they're not "representative of this country.
" Trump claimed he looked "at all the brand new signs I guess paid for" by Democratic donor George Soros "and other radical left lunatics," though he did not provide evidence for this assertion.
In a Fox News interview that aired Friday, Trump addressed protesters' characterization of him as a monarch, stating: "They're referring to me as a king. I'm not a king."
Political response sharply divided
Democratic lawmakers expressed support for the demonstrations. Senator Adam Schiff told ABC News: "We cannot be silent with this increasing militarization of our cities, the abuse of the Justice Department and the dismantling of science. People need to speak out, and it's wonderful millions around the country are speaking out today."
Republican leaders condemned the protests. House Speaker Mike Johnson called them a "Hate America rally," telling reporters: "You're going to bring together the Marxists, the Socialists, the Antifa advocates, the anarchists and the pro-Hamas wing of the far-left Democrat Party."
Protests remain largely peaceful
Law enforcement officials across multiple cities reported that demonstrations remained overwhelmingly peaceful.
San Diego Police Lieutenant Travis Easter thanked protesters on social media, saying: "Thanks for keeping it classy, San Diego," noting more than 25,000 people protested "peacefully and responsibly."
Charlotte Mecklenburg Police said all streets reopened following demonstrations with no arrests or incidents, stating: "We appreciate everyone who came out and helped make this a safe and respectful event for all."
Ezra Levin, co-executive director of Indivisible, one of the organizing groups, responded to Trump's social media post in a statement: "The regime can't decide if this was a violent insurrection or if it was such a bust that it never happened, but regardless, Trump is clearly pissed."
