FS Italiane and Microsoft have announced a strategic partnership to accelerate the Italian railway operator's digital transformation through artificial intelligence, marking one of Europe's most ambitious technology collaborations in the transport sector.

Under the agreement, FS Italiane will deploy Microsoft 365 Copilot to its workforce of more than 50,000 employees.
